Lady Aya brooch is made in a traditional workshop in Senegal. Our African artisans crafted the silver prototype of the brooch for the Futurium permanent collection; the experimental museum of the future in Berlin.
Under the artistic direction of jewelry designer Ngoné Sagna, committed to Made in Africa, the brooch was entirely handcrafted by her African goldsmiths.
The metal was melted, cast, forged, chiseled and shaped to fit perfectly the artist's drawing and inspiration.
The red wood was carved in imitation of the many precious stones that make up the brooch. Then the designer added the final touch of colors to represent the shine of the stones.
More than a piece of high jewelry, Lady Aya is a project. It mobilizes the energy of an entire team of jewelry and mining professionals, from its design to the manufacturing of the jewelry in Africa.
The Lady Aya brooch is custom-designed and made to order, thus promoting the know-how of African artisans and the work of women miners in Africa.

C'est dans un atelier traditionnel au Sénégal que la broche Lady Aya a été fabriquée. Nos artisans africains ont fabriqué le prototype en argent massif de la broche pour la collection permanente du Futurium; le musée expérimental du futur à Berlin.
Sous la direction artistique de la créatrice de bijoux Ngoné Sagna, engagée dans le Made in Africa, la broche a été entièrement travaillée à la main par ses orfèvres africains.
Le métal a été fondu, coulé, forgé, ciselé et mis en forme à la mesure du dessin et de l'inspiration de l'artiste.
Le bois rouge a été sculpté en imitation aux nombreuses pierres précieuses qui composent la broche. Puis La créatrice a ajouté la touche finale de couleurs pour représenter les brillances des pierres.
Plus qu'un bijou de haute joaillerie, Lady Aya est un projet. Il mobilise l'énergie de toute une équipe de professionnels du bijoux et des mines, de sa conception à la fabrication du bijou en Afrique.
La broche Lady Aya est conçue sur mesure, sur commande, permettant ainsi de valoriser le savoir-faire des artisans africains et le travail des femmes minières en Afrique.
